1. Open the top cover and remove the printer cartridge

WARNING: Avoid reaching too far into the printer. The adjacent fusing area might be hot.

CAUTION: To prevent damage to the print cartridge, do not expose it to light for more than a few minutes

2. Wipe any dust or dirt off the paper path area and the printer cartridge cavity with a dry, lint-free cloth.

NOTE: If toner gets on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and wash clothing in cold water. (Hot water sets toner into fabric.)

3. Replace the print cartridge, close the top cover, plug in the power cord, and turn the printer on.

2. Slide the tray (paper cassette) out of the paper.

3. Locate the black paper pickup roller.

4. Clean the pickup roller with a lint-free cloth. If necessary, moisten it with a few drops of water.

5. Allow it to dry.

6. Slide the tray into the printer.

7. Plug the printer back into the power source.
